Kokeshi | RUN DMC Darryl 'DMC' Mcdaniels
There is none higher. RUN DMC, founded in 1983 by Joseph Simmons, Darryl McDaniels, and Jason Mizell, was one of the most influential acts in the history of hip-hop culture. They were the first in their genre to be nominated for a Grammy, have their video aired on MTV, and for many, the first hip-hop group they ever heard or saw. Their legacy is unparalleled and influence still seen and heard today. Darryl McDaniels, stage name DMC, was one of two leading vocalists for the trio.
