The Skjøde collection

The Danish nature was the guiding inspiration when Th. Skjøde Knudsen designed his characteristic wooden animals. He had an uncanny talent for carving out wooden figures. In 1960 he established his own factory located in Skjern. The collection were designed in 1958 and are known as one of Skjøde’s best designs. The variations of the wood used and the simple details underline the true handicraft of the Skjøde Collection.
