Kokeshi | Freddie, I Want To Break Free
A parody of the long running British soap, “Coronation Street”, Freddie Mercury dressed as “Bet Lynch” for the video “I Want to Break Free” by Queen. While considered satirical in the band’s native UK, it was a source of controversy within selected media outlets at the time, however, today the song and video is a global anthem of empowerment and liberty.
