In April 2017, the very first Paul Smith store in Scandinavia opened at the Copenhagen Airport. To mark the occasion, Lucie Kaas expanded its popular line of Sketch.inc for Lucie Kaas dolls to include the iconic Sir. Paul Smith as an immortalised character. The interior of the Copenhagen store took inspiration from famous designers from around the world; the colourful front of the shop was influenced by the Mexican architect, Luis Barragán, and when moving inside the shop, Danish Hans Wegner chairs were found in upholstered Paul Smith and Marharam fabrics. The Sketch.inc for Lucie Kaas kokeshi dolls were sprinkled around the store as a creative touch.
